I suddenly realized the dashed tightrope could represent a birational map.

About this webpage
As a small gift to all participants of this conference, we designed a mug containing mathematical clues, local references to Sheffield, fragments of street art, and many details that may or may not have been intended.
This page is meant as a playful anonymous collection of mathematical clues associated with the mug, Sheffield street-art sightings, nice pictures from a hike in the Peak District, unexpected visual resonances, and unintended interpretations that become meaningfully readable.
For example, if you notice that a dashed tightrope an acrobat is balancing on could be interpreted as a sign for a birational map, feel free to write this, so everybody can notice the association you just had.
Your human mind is allowed to complete the pattern. This webpage is for collecting interpretations that become true by being noticed.
Everything added here is anonymous. No login is required. It works directly from a browser or phone, including image uploads from your photo library.
Every contribution extends the artwork.
